Oh, How I wish I could write a xanga like Tonya...her's are always so whitty! So much news to discuss...onto the topic of jobs...I just got hired as a property management leasing agent for Sun Ridge Apartments, and I can honestly say, I have never looked forward to working so much in my life. This will be my first "office" job..and yes my friends..I get my own office, with a desk! Great benefits, close to home, and the pay is pretty good, good enough, I can actually open a savings account and start putting back some for special things. Could it be I am following a different path, that I have set up for myself...always wanting to be a wedding planner, or a party planner of the sort, and going into the direction of property management. Wonder if this is something I will enjoy doing..something I might enjoy so much as to down the road, pursue something in the real estate industry? Life always puts windows of opportunity out there for you. Goodbye Lufkin Claires...you will not be missed. I am absoultly thrilled to be leaving Lufkin Claires as Assistant Manager. Although I can honestly say, I am glad I got the position in the first place, having the word "manager" on a resume always looks good.  This past summer absoultly blew...except for one major event that took place...me graduating college. Yes, I finally did it! Although it did hit me on the first day of school when I was driving to work, and all the cars were parked at the commutor lot...I almost found myself pulling in the lot thinking I had class! I am so silly. With school starting up a new year, that also means a new season of Rugby for Karl. I am looking so forward to his games this year, as I will have a big girl job where all my weekends are free to travel to his games, sleep in, or go on randomness adventures. From the sounding of my journal, it seems as though I am not ready to leave the college life. Well if you had 5 years of wonderful, would you leave it in a hurry too? I didn't think so. The new apartment with Stephanie is going oh so fabulous. We are having our first party in 2 weeks. So far, around 40 girls are invited to the 2nd annual all girl party. This year is going to be better than last years party, due to the fact, that I have a bigger place this time, and I have invited more girls. All is well in my world! Kiss Kiss

I am watching the Dallas Reunion show. Exicting huh? Remember China Beach, and Dynasty (They don't call it nasty for nothing) and Thirtysomething, and Knotslanding?? When those shows were on, I was under the age of 10, and comprehended what was going on, in Dallas, and Dynasty when the slut bags slept around on the rich tycoons, or when the thirtysomething couples were going through relationship problems, and their mid-life crisis. Whatever happened to those type of shows?? All the shows that are on now, just geer towards the teen/tween younger audience, and not to the older crowd. You have your enormous MTV drama genre, and I am sorry, but my 41 year old mama loves Leguna Beach. I mean Dawson's Creek was an awesome show, because I was the exact same age as that group. But how come there can't be any shows these days without the bubblegum teeny bop sensation exploding? They say its because majoriy of the audience is younger every year. HELLO...I was 10 when I was watching adult soap shows like Dynasty. I feel that television programming needs to re-group and come out with better shows that geer towards an older audience. Am I missing something? Or do I just not watch enough tv to know that there are programs out there for my age to relate? Because, I am old. -older. Thank God I still have Nip/Tuck by my side. Season 4 premier September 19. Get excited people, I know I am!

Well, Well, Well, it looks like its time for an update. A lot has happened since when did I last write....May something. Anywho...update on my life people: First and most importantly, Karl and I just had our one year anniversary. I cannot BELIEVE a whole entire year has gone by. It seems like yesterday was last summer to me. This past year has just been great for me and Karl. For our one year anniversary, he got me diamond earrings!!!! I love them to pieces!! I told him I would never take them out of my ears. I of course got all crafty and made him a giant picture collage of him, and his college rugby days. Of course I had to add a bit of me in there for good measure.  Karl had a "feeling" he knew what it was...but I think he really likes it. He hung it up on his wall, and I like to say, it ads good decoration to his boy-room.

On to topic 2. I graduate in August.

On to topic 3. I just got promoted to assistant manager at Claires. ......in Lufkin It is not what I wanted coming right out of college with a BA in communications, but for the mean time, I am going to try it for at least 3 months to see how I adapt. I am not saying retail is my calling. God no. I hate customer service. But I am good at it. And I like Claires. And I like all their merchandise too! I tried and tried finding a job in Nac..but it is harder than I thought. My only working background I have is waiting tables...oh and in 1997 I was a receptionist at my mom's office in Dallas. So I was um.. yea..14 at the time. I like to take something unexpected and turn it into something positive. Like for instance..I had no Idea I would be promoted to becoming assistant manager of Claires, in Lufkin for that matter. But on a postive note,  I think it will look good on a resume, when I have "Assistant Manager" as a title. Potential employers might see that I am competent to manage a department of some sort in the communication field of whatever I decide to go into. Other than that, I am looking at it as a higher increase in pay, to support my living expenses, and my bad little habit of impulse buying. I sure am gonna miss my G-ma's monthly allowance she gives me

On to topic 4: I am moving out of good ole apartment # 106-and into apartment # ??? with Stephanie August 1. We are very excited. My mom is coming to see me in Nac this weekend and bringing me packing items so I have stuff to box up for the great move across the lawn into a two bedroom. Some very fond memories of my very first apartment will forever hold dear to my heart: First annual sex toy party, family dinners with my true love, and BFF, and many a cosmo night with my girlfriends. But I am looking forward to living with Stephanie. She and I are going to make great roommates. The second annual sex toy party coming soon!

Well, that is all for the moment. I promise to update more often, or at least try to. Kiss, Kiss, Hug Hug, Big Hug, Big Kiss, Little Hug, Big Kiss, Big Hug, Little Kiss.               XX OO O X oX Ox-Nacho Libre

Ponderables

Can you cry underwater?

How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"....but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"?  Where does that extra penny go to?

Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?

Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

How is it we put a man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

Why is it people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?

If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?

Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?

Why do people pay to go up to tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Why do doctors leave the room while you change?  They're going to see you naked anyway.

Why is "bra" singular and "panties" plural?

Can a hearse carrying a corpse drive in the carpool lane?

Why do they call it an asteroid when it's outside the hemisphere, but call it a hemorrhoid when it's in your butt?
